But if you wanted “leads” and “sales”, and the funny ad you ran doesn’t get you those, you’ve now wasted time and money.

This rule’s simple. The joke must be original, and must come from YOU.
You need effort and confidence to pull something off like this.
Sense of humour is a skill that’s built. It’s not created from thin air. You must put in the work to learn what makes people laugh and what annoys them.
Do Not Force Humour
This is the BIGGEST mistake a lot of business pages make.
This is what makes people cringe.
This is what makes people throw their phones away when they see an ad.
“Forcing” humour is equal to shooting yourself in the foot.
Make sure the joke you say has relevance to what you’re trying to sell, and what the audience wants.
Make sure you SELL.
What’s important is that you must sell.
So keep it funny, but don’t forget the point of your ad.
